Laura Linney

Laura Linney (born February 5 1964 New York New York U.S.) American actress best well-known for her powerful but vulnerable characters. Linney is from a theatre heritage, her father is the playwright Romulus Linney. In 1986, she received her degree at Brown University. She then studied Theatre Arts at Arts Theatre School Moscow before getting her degree from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City, 1990. In 1990, she began her Broadway career. She was praised for her performances in both Hedda Gabrieller as well as Six Degrees of Separation.
